This cherry-recipe is both delicious and easy to make. It’s made from scratch and you know it’s a safe juice for you to enjoy that tastes just like the store-bought drinks. BUT this recipe has many health benefits, and it has anti-inflammatory properties. It’s a non-toxic recipe and it’s perfect if you want a boost to your immune system.

My name is Shane and I’m a mom of two and I have a husband who works in the hot sun every single day of his life. I’m on a mission to make drinks and snacks to hydrate him throughout the day, but they must also be healthy with no toxins in them. They care for us, so we need to care for them too. Our love can be shown in various ways, but I love to cook and bake, so I love showing him I love him by baking and making him things from scratch that helps him get through the day at work and hydrates him through the hottest of days.

If you have a hard-working husband and you want to do something special for him, let’s show them we appreciate them and respect them for what they do by providing for their needs as they do for us. If your goal is to make your man and kids happy, follow me for more!

I’ve also worked hard on an eBook on how to detox your home from toxic cleaning products. DIY recipes added on how to make your own! We want our homes to be safer for our families, kids and pets. Check it out if you want to learn more.

Health Benefits of Cherry-Cinnamon Juice:

Reduces Inflammation – Both the cherries and the cinnamon are packed with polyphenols and anthocyanins, naturally mediating inflammatory processes comparable to over-the-counter medications, like ibuprofen.

Aids sleep – Tart cherries are a natural source of melatonin and tryptophan, helping regulate your sleep-wake cycle and promoting a better night’s rest.

Soothes Sore Muscles – Drinking this juice can speed up muscle recovery and alleviate next-day soreness after intense exercise.

Heart and Brain Health – Cinnamon improves circulation and aids in lowering blood pressure, while the antioxidants in cherries combat oxidative stress that can lead to cognitive decline.

I’ve been wanting to make my own juice for a while now, but every time I tried, it resulted in a complete failure. This was the first homemade juice recipe that actually tasted great. I am really proud of this recipe.

Although it takes quite a lot of cherries to get juice, this is definitely worth it.

How to make this delicious cherry-cinnamon, with added clove juice:

Step 1

Wash and pit your cherries. Put all of it in a pot and add your water, clove and cinnamon too. Cover the pot so all of the goodness and flavor stay inside. Let it come to a boil, then turn your heat down to low and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes.

Step 2 –

After it’s done simmering, let it cool off for a few minutes, then add your maple syrup and stir it in while the juice is still hot. Stir until it is completely dissolved. Grab your measuring jug or a regular bowl. Put your cheesecloth or mesh strainer on top and pour your juice over it to separate the chunks from the juice. Make sure you get all of the juice out by pressing on the cherry chunks.

Step 3 –

Pour your juice in juice bottles but only fill the bottle about a quarter full. Fill the rest of your juice bottles with the sparkling water of your choice. You can enjoy it as is, or you can add some lemon ice cubes to your juice. The lemon juice gives it a great taste!

Why this recipe?

I have two kids and keeping them happy at home is my goal. We know about all of the junk and toxins that are in most of the store-bought foods and drinks, and we do not want our kids to be exposed to that. It’s difficult sometimes to make homemade drinks taste better than the store-bought ones. We want them to choose the homemade foods and drinks over the store-bought items. So, I’m on a mission to make them taste WAY better than the store-bought items so they will actually enjoy it and come back for more. And these are the recipes I want to share with you too.

I hope you enjoy this recipe!
